RESOLUTION NO. 197
Series of 1972
WHEREAS, thB City Council of the City of Wheat Ridge
desires to proceed undBr provisions of the Statutes of the State
of Colorado to exclude certain territory within said Municipality
from the North JBffco Metropolitan Recreation and Park District.
WHEREAS, Chapter 89, Article 15, of the Colorado
Revised Statutes of 1953, as amended, requires a Resolution by
the governing body of this Municipality setting out an agreement.
WHEREAS, this Municipality provides essentia11y the
same servicEE as are provided by the District.
WHEREAS, the City Council agrees to provide the services
provided by the District to the area within the City that is also
10cated within the Boundaries of the District as required by law.
WHEREAS, this City provides various park and recreational
services not offered by said District.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT: The City agrees to
provide the servicffi provided by thB District to the area of the
District within the City within one year of an exclusion order
obtained by the City as a Petitioner in an action to be filed
against said District in the District Court of Jefferson Ccunty.
