CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WHEAT RIDGE, COLORADO.
RESOLUTION NO. 208
Series of 1973
WHEREAS, this City Council has previously unanimously opposed
any Kipling Street Freeway alignment;
WHEREAS, the Denver Regional Council of Governments proposed
Joint Regional Planning Program shows a proposed limited access
freeway located along Kipling in Wheat Ridge on the so-called "Front
Range Freeway" alignment;
WHEREAS, this City Council is unalterably opposed to the
construction of any such freeway along Kipling Street within the
City of Wheat Ridge;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT: We reaffirm our
previous position that the City of Wheat Ridge is opposed to the
Kipling freeway proposal in the Wheat Ridge area and that we hereby
resolve to oppose this proposal in all ways possible.
