RESOLUTION NO. 297
Series of 1974
A resolution designating Larry Thomas as Traffic
Engineer succeeding Brian Moss who has been assigned to other
duties.
WHEREAS, Section 23-8 and Section 23-9 of the Colorado
Highway Safety Council, Model Traffic Code for Colorado Municipalities,
1971, requires the establishment of a City Traffic Engineer Office
and the designation of an engineer or other official for prescribed
functions, and
W1EREAS, Larry Thomas is the City employee hired to
perform these functions under the supervision of the Director of
Public Works, and
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 80 assigned those tasks to an
individual who is no longer performing them,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT Larry Thomas be
designated as the City officer to perform functions as outlined
in Section 23-9, subject Model Traffic Code.
DONE AND RESOLVED THIS 28th day of
A. D., 1974, by a vote of 5 to 0
