RESOLUTION NO. 339
Series of 1974
WHEREAS, the Senate Bill Number B enacted by the General
Assembly of the State of Colorado during the 1974 session of the
State Legislature provides for the transfer of responsibility for
all traffic control devices on the State Highway System within
the cities having a population in excess of 5,000 from the various
cities to the State Department of Highways effective July 1, 1974;
and
WHEREAS, the Division of Highways and the City of Wheat
Ridge mutually desire to enter into such an agreement; and
WHEREAS, it is to the mutual benefit of both parties
hereto to enter into such an agreement;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Agreement between
the City of Wheat Ridge and the Colorado Division of Highways per-
taining to the reimbursement to the City for the cost of maintenance,
imitallation and operation of all traffic control devices on the
State Highway System located within the corporate limits of the City
of Wheat Ridge be and is hereby approved; and the Mayor is hereby
authorized to execute such an agreement on behalf of the City.
DONE AND RESOLVED this 29th day of August, A. D., 1974,
by a vote of 5 to 0
