Series of 1971,
W~EREAS, there is an ever increasing need for blood which
can be donated by individuals; and
WHEREAS, the Belle Bonfils Blood Center is trying to
establish a Wheat Ridge Community Blood Donor Program; and
WHEREAS, the Belle Bonfils Blood Center will bring a
bloodmobile to Wheat Ridge on a regular basis if such a program is
instituted; and
WHEREAS, the Wheat Ridge United Methodist Church is trying
to assist in the establishment of such a program; and
WHEREAS, the City of Wheat Ridge has been contacted by
the Wheat Ridge United Methodist Church for its support of such a
program;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Wheat Ridge that the above expressed aims be wholeheartedly
supported; that such a program be endorsed and that when operational,
information as to bloodmobile time schedules be made available to all
individuals within the City employment structure,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Belle Bonfils Blood Center
be commended for its efforts and the Wheat Ridge United Methodist
Church be commended for its interest in extending such service into
Wheat Ridge.
