RESOLUTION NO. 34::
Series of 1974
WHEREAS financial dssistance from the State of Colorado
through Colorado Water Conservation Board is available for flood
hazard identification within the city limits of Wheat Ridge, Colorado;
and
WHEREAS, flood hazard identification is necessarv to
administer the flood plain ordinance; and
WHEREAS, the cost of such studV has been determined and
agreed by qualified engineering firms; and
WHEREAS, a qualified engineering firm, Wright-McLaughlin
Engineers of 2420 Alcott Street, Denver, has agreed to provice the
required engineering study and identification for a total base cost
not to exceed $3,050; and
WHEREAS, said engineering firm will provide such study in
a reasonable time of a few weeks, to be specified in mutual agreement
with the City of Wheat Ridge; and
WHEREAS, such study shall include a suitable report for
review bV the Colorado Water Conservation Board;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of Wheat Ridge
hereby ratifies the application of September 26,1974, to the Colorado
Water Conservation Board for funds to complete the identification
project.
DONE AND RESOLVED this 3rd day of October, A. D., 1974,
by a vote of 5 to 0
