RESOLUTION rJo. -'I'';
Series of 1974
WHEREAS, the Wheat Ridge Fire Protection District has provided
well trained personnel to staff the emergency ambulance service in
the City of Wheat Ridge since the latter part of 1971; and
WHEREAS, such services have been performed in an exemplary
manner for the benefit of all citizens of the City; and
WHEREAS, the emergency ambulance service is an outstanding
example of inter-jurisdictional cooperation which results in significant
savings to the community; and
WHEREAS, the City of Wheat Ridge has provided at City expense,
one ambulance and one station wagon equipped for ambulance duty
together with radios to assist the Fire District in providing this
service and has also furnished full maintenance and repair for such
vehicles; and
WHEREAS, the City of Wheat Ridge desires that the emergency
ambulance service be continued on the same basis as in the past;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Wheat Ridge Fire
Protection District is hereby commended for its valuable work in
maintaining emergency ambulance service for the benefit of all
citizens of the City of W~eat Ridge, and the City hereby reaffirms
its intention to continue this productive and worthwhile relationship
with the Wheat Ridge Fire Protection District.
