A RESOLUTION SUPPORTING THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF JEFFERSON
COUNTY, COLORADO ON ITS REQUEST TO THE DEPARTMENT OF LOCAL AFFAIRS OF
THE STATE OF COLORADO FOR THE EXPANSION AND REFINEMENT OF A LAND USE
COMPUTER MODEL AND INFORMATION SYSTEM PROGRAM TO FACILITATE IMPLE-
MENTATION OF HOUSE BILL 1041.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Wheat Ridge has
carefully reviewed the Jefferson County Land Use Computer Model and
Management System Program and has determined that said program, if
expanded and refined, will greatly facilitate implementation of
provisions of House Bill 1~41, and
WHEREAS, such a program will contribute to a uniform and
cooperative effort among the various local governments.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Wheat Ridge
hereby endorses Jefferson County's request for House Bill 1041 supplemental
funding for the refinement and expansion of the Land Use Computer
Model and Management System Progra~ and urges the Department of
Local Affairs to give said request favorable consideration.
DONE AND RESOLVED this 21st day of November, A. D., 1974,
by a vot e of 6 to 0
