Series of 1975
TITLE: A RESOLUTION APPOINTING DENNIS W. ZWAGERMAN TO THE POSITION OF
CHIEF BUILDING INSPECTOR (ACTING) ON A TEMPORARY BASIS UNTIL
THE CURRENT VACANCY IS FILLED THROUGH NORMAL RECRUITMENT PROCESSES.
WHEREAS, the position of Chief Building Inspector for the City
of Wheat Ridge became vacant 011 February 1, 1 ,:n5; and
WHEREAS, certaill duties alld responsibilities of the Chief Building
Illspector are specified in State law arld City Ordinances which require
that immediate appointment be made in order to continue the orderly con-
duct of City business; and
WHEREAS, the Chief Buildillg Inspector is the head of the Building
Inspectioll Division which is a part of the Community Development Department
of the City; and
WHEREAS, DENNIS W. ZWAGERMAN is qualified by experience and train-
ing to perform these respollsibilities on an interim basis;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Wheat Ridge that DENNIS W. ZWAGERMAN is hereby appointed to the position
of Chief Building Inspector (Acting) 011 a temporary basis effective 2/1/75
to serve until the selectioll and appointment of a qualified person is made
as a result of the City's recruitment IIOW ill progress.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that these duties shall be carried by
Dennis W. Zwagerman ill additioll to his other responsibilities as Director
of Community Developmellt and shall be performed 011 all interim basis with-
out a change in hi s presellt salary.
