RESOLUTION NO. 393
Series of 1975
TITLE: RESOLUTION HONORING LA VETA TREZISE ON THE OCCASION OF
HER RETIREMENT AS A TEACHER AND PRINCIPAL IN THE JEFFERSON
COUNTY R-l SCHOOL DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, LA VETA TREZISE is retiring this year after a life-
time of dedicated work, as a Teacher and School Principal in the
Jefferson County R-l School District; and
WHEREAS, LA VETA TREZISE served for many years as a Principal
at Stevens Elementary School in Wheat Ridge and at Mountain View Cottage
School, and
WHEREAS, She had devoted thirty-four years in the development
and guidance of the youth of our Community, and is regarded as one of
the District's outstanding staff members, and
WHEREAS, Many persons in the City of Wheat Ridge have benefitted
by her work and regard her with warm affection,
NOW, THEREFORE, Be it resolved by the Mayor and City Council of
the City of Wheat Ridge, that La Veta Trezise is hereby publicly commended
for her distinguished career in behalf of the youth of our Community and
this resolution is hereby awarded in recognition of her achievements and
with the best wishes of all her many friends, associates and fellow citi-
zens in the City of Wheat Ridge.
