SERIES OF 1976
TITLE: A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 423, SERIES OF 1975, A
RESOLUTION APPROPRIATING FUNDS FOR THE PURPOSES OF DEPARTMENTAL
OPERATIONS AND CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS FOR THE CITY OF WHEAT RIDGE
GENERAL GOVERNMENT FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1975 AND PROVIDING FOR
THE EXPENDITURE OF FUNDS RECEIVED FROM THE STATE OF COLORADO
CENTENNIAL _ BI-CENTENNIAL COMMISSION FOR THE PURPOSES OF CITY
PARTICIPATION IN THE NATIONAL BI-CENTENNIAL CELEBRATION FOR
FISCAL YEAR 1976.
WHEREAS, The City of Wheat Ridge, Colorado has been designated
an official Bi-Centennial City for the Centennial - Bi-Centennial Year;
and,
WHEREAS, The City of Wheat Ridge is eligible to receive funds
from the State of Colorado Bi-Centennial Commission for the purpose of
encouraging interest and participation in Bi-Centennial activities; and,
WHEREAS, Funds have been provided in the form of grants plus
interest totalling $16,000 to be spent for Bi-Centennial projects and
purposes; and,
WHEREAS, These funds are to be used by the City of Wheat Ridge
within the City to promote the "Spirit of '75";
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the following appropriation
account be adopted:

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this change shall be construed to
change the General Fund appropriation as filed with the Division of
Local Government, 5tate of Colorado and they shall be duly notified of
said change.
