A RESOLUTION AFFIRMING IMPLEMENTATION BY THE CITY OF WHEAT RIDGE, OF
THE DENVER REGIONAL COUNCIL OF GOVERNMENTS REGIONAL HOUSING PLAN.
WHEREAS, the City Council, City of Wheat Ridge, State of Colorado
recognizes that sound and adequate shelter is a basic human need,
that each resident in the Denver region is entitled to a decent home,
and that the provision of this housing is a public as well as private
responsibility; and
WHEREAS, the City of Wheat Ridge is a participating member of the
Denver Regional Council of Governments, hereinafter referred to as
D.R.C.O.G., and as such has participated in the D.R.C.O.G. development
and adoption of 8 Regional Housing Plan, including a Regional Housing
Allocation Model;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WHEAT
RIDGE, COLORADO, AS FOLLOWS:
1. That it hereby affirms its role in the implementation of the D.R.C.O.G.
Regional Housing Plan, including the Regional Housing Allocation Model
as described in resolutions and attachments thereto, as adopted by the
D.R.C.O.G. December l3, 1972.
2. That it hereby agrees to prepare and adopt its own plan for implemen-
tation that recognizes the D.R.C.O.G. Regional Housing Plan as well
as the city's own unique housing situation.
PASSED AND ADOPTED AT A REGULAR MEETING of the City Council of the City
of Wheat Ridge, Colorado, this 24th day of May , 1975 by a
