RESOLUTION NO. 492
SERIES OF 1977
TITLE: A RESOLUTION CONCERNING THE WHEAT RIDGE MUNICIPAL
COMPLEX AND ASSURING THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
ADMINISTRATION THAT IT WILL NOT INCUR ANY ADDITIONAL
EXPENSE OR OBLIGATION AS THE RESULT OF THE CITY OF
WHEAT RIDGE CHANGING ARCHITECTURAL FIRMS.
WHEREAS, the City of Wheat Ridge submitted an application
to the Economic Development Administration for the construction
of a municipal complex; and
WHEREAS, the Economic Development Administration did on
the date of January 21, 1977 authorize and approve the grant
for the City of Wheat Ridge
municipal complex; and
WHEREAS, the architectural firm of Pahl & Associates
had been retained by the City in preparing the grant application
and supporting documents; and
WHEREAS, the City of Wheat Ridge felt that it should
change architectural firms to complete the municipal complex;
and
WHEREAS, the City of Wheat Ridge does realize that any
additional costs which might be incurred as a result of this
change in architectural firms must be borne by the City of
Wheat Ridge, and not the Economic Development Administration.
NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the
City of Wheat Ridge, Colorado, that the City hereby assures
the Economic Development Administration that any and all fees
which must be paid to Pahl & Associates, original architectural
firm, will be paid entirely from municipal funds, and not
Economic Development Administration grant funds.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the architectural firm of
Henningson, Durham and Richardson, Inc., of Colorado, is
designated as the project architects as provided in the Contract
dated February 1, 1977.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City of Wheat Ridge,
Colorado, does hereby re-acknowledge and re-affirm its
obligation to fund from its own municipal budget, any cost
which exceeds the Economic Development Administration Grant
award of $1,350,000.00.
