RESOLUTION NO. 1,'1'1
SERIES OF 1977
WHEREAS, A Wheat Ridge Centennial-Bicentennial
Commission WQS appointed by the Mayor of Wheat Ridge to
organize and carry out a Centennial-Bicentennial Program
for the City of Wheat Ridge, and
WHEREAS, The Centennial-Bicentennial Commission
earned for the City the recognition of being an American
Revolutionary Bicentennial Community and, therefore a
Colorado Centennial City. and
WHEREAS, The program provided by the Wheat Ridge
Centennial-Bicentennial Commission was beneficial to the
citizens of Wheat Ridge and was in keeping with the
intent and purpose of the Bicentennial year, and
WHEREAS, The Centennial-Bicentennial Commission
has completed its program and has fulfilled its respon-
sibilities in a manner worthy of commendation,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council
of the City of Wheat Ridge acknowledge the efforts of
and commend the Wheat Ridge Centennial-Bicentennial
Commission, and that it give special recognition to
Mr. Theodore Erickson and Mr. Clyde W. Gooden, Co-
Chairmen of the Wheat Ridge Centennial-Bicentennial
Commission.
DONE AND RESOLVED this 28th day of Feb. A.D. 1977.
