RESOLUTION NO. 509
Series of 1977
TITLE: RESOLUTION HONORING Dr. CHARLES ROMINE ON THE OCCASION OF HIS
RETIREMENT FROM THE JEFFERSON COUNTY R-1 SCHOOL DISTRICT
WHEREAS, Dr. Charles Romine recently retired after a 45-year career
in the field of education, of which twenty-three (23) years were served
within Jefferson County; and
~VHEREAS, Dr. Romine most recently served as Jefferson-Wheat Ridge
Area Superintendent, and has also held positions as Principal of Wheat
Ridge High School, as Principal of Stober Elementary School, Director of
High School Education, Assistant Superintendent for Personnel Services for
the School District, and has served with distinction in all of these posi-
tions; and
WHEREAS, Dr. Romine has made noteworthy contributions to the better-
ment of education throughout Jefferson County, and, more particularly, in the
Wheat Ridge area;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Wheat Ridge that Dr. Charles Romine be publicly recognized and commended
for his dedicated efforts on behalf of the Jefferson County R-1 School
District;
AND, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the citizens of Wheat Ridge join
with his many friends and associates in congratulating him and wishing him
a very happy and satisfying retirement.
