TITLE: RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE JEFFERSON COUNTY OPEN SPACE DIRECTOR
TO SECURE A QUALIFIED PROFESSIONAL APPRAISAL ON PROPERTY LOCATED
AT W. 38th Ave. & Quail St., KNOWN AS THE GEURINK PROPERTY.
~~EREAS, the property located at W. 38th Ave. and Quail Street,
known as the Geurink property, has been offered for sale to the City; and
WHEREAS, such property is identified on the City's adopted Parks
and Open Space Plan for parks, recreation, and open space purposes; and
~~EREAS, the City Council desires to secure additional information
concerning this property and its market value;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Wheat Ridge that the Open Space Director of Jefferson County be requested
to secure a qualified, professional appraisal to determine the value of
this property and any other pertinent information;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the appraisal report be secured immedi-
ately in order to provide necessary information to the City Council of Wheat
Ridge to facilitate a decision on the acquisition of this property as soon
as possible in compliance with the owner's request.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a certified copy of this Resolution be
transmitted by the City Clerk to the Open Space Director of Jefferson County
and to the members of the Jefferson County Open Space Committee.
