RESOLUTION NO. 547
Series of 1977
TITLE: RESOLUTION COMMENDING MEMBERS OF THE WHEAT RIDGE CHARTER COMMISSION
ON THE PREPARATION AND SUBMISSION OF THE PROPOSED WHEAT RIDGE CHARTER.
WHEREAS, the Members of the Wheat Ridge Charter Commission were ini-
tially elected by the citizens of Wheat Ridge to prepare and submit a pro-
posed City Charter; and
WHEREAS, the Commission has completed its work in drafting a revised
Charter document which has been set for election by the City Council on Tuesday,
February 21, 1978; and
WHEREAS, the Members of the Charter Commission have unstintingly
given of their time and effort to this work and have pursued their duties in
a diligent and conscientious manner;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
\Vheat Ridge that the Wheat Ridge Charter Commission, its Chairman, and all
Hembers, individually, be hereby commended for their valuable work in develop-
ing a Charter document for consideration by the voters of Wheat Ridge.
