RESOLUTION NO. 550
Series of 1977
TITLE: RESOLUTION SETTING FEES FOR SEARCH AND ACCESS REVIEW OF CRIMINAL
JUSTICE AND OFFICIAL ACTION RECORDS OF THE POLICE DEPARTMENT.
WHEREAS, House Bill No. 1597 concerning Criminal Justice Records
and providing for the collection and dissemination thereof, becomes effective
December 31, 1977; and
WHEREAS, 24-72-306, C.R.S. 1973 as amended, requires the City of
Wheat Ridge to establish reasonable fees, not to exceed actual costs, for
the search, retrieval and copying of Criminal Justice Records; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the fee schedule for the search,
retrieval, and copying of Criminal Justice Records be established as shown
below:
SEARCH:
15 minute minimum
$1. 60
REVIEW:
30 minute minimum
$3.20
TIME LOSS CHARGE:
45 minute minimum
$4.80
Additional time required for search and review will be charged by 15 minute
intervals at $1.60 per interval. The time loss charge will also be charged
at $1.60 minute interval. This will be payable at the time the records are
inspected.
PHOTOCOPYING FEES:
For every five (5)
pages or portion
thereof.

One (1) 8" by 10"
color print

One (1) 8" by 10"
black and white print

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all fees collected for the search,
retrieval and copying of Criminal Justice Records shall be deposited into
