RESOLUTION NO. 579
Series of 1978
TITLE: RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING RENTAL OF SAFE DEPOSIT BOX
WHEREAS, it is deemed necessary to provide adequate safe-
keeping for various City financial documents,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Treasurer be
authorized to rent for the City of Wheat Ridge a Safe Deposit Box at
The First Bank of Wheat Ridge, and to sign in behalf of the City of
Wheat Ridge a lease therefor, and upon the termination thereof, to
surrender said box, release the said Bank from any liability in con-
nection therewith, return the keys, and otherwise take such steps as
may be necessary to terminate the said lease and all matters connect-
ed therewith;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that during the life of said lease
and any renewal thereof, or until the further order of this Council
the following agents and officers of this Corporation be and they are
hereby authorized to have the right of access to said box and control
of the contents thereof:
James O. Malone, City Treasurer
provided, that at least one of said agents and officers shall attend
whenever access is had to the box, and sign whatever application for
access may be required by said Bank as a prerequisite to granting
access to said box;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the authority granted in the
preceding resolutions shall be and remain in full force and effect
until revoked by the City Council of the Corporation and notice of
such revocation and any change is given to The First Bank of Wheat
Ridge in writing.
DONE AND RESOLVED this 12th day of June, A.D. 1978, by a
vote of 6 to O.
