REVENT'ES TO THE rrTY OF WHEAT RIDf::;E FOP THE FISCAL YEAR
1979.
WHEREAS, the City of Whe~t Rid~e Annual Budget for the
fiscal vear 1979 has been established and Public Ilearings and
Meetings have been held on June 26, 1978, August 31, 1978,
September 21, 1978, September 25, 1978 and October 19, 1978,
aFter dulV published public notices; and
WHEREAS, the Budget provides fnr revenues and operating
and capital expenditures in the total amount of $6,h95,028, which
includes $4,350,589 in the r:;eneral Fund, $2,118,300 in the Sales
Tax Improvements Fund, $215,219 in the Seneral Revenue Sharing
Fund, and $10,920 in Other Special Funds; and
WHEREAS, $394,733 of the General Fund Budget is estimated
to be derived from ad valorem property taxes and the balance
derived frnm other estimated revenue sources;
NOW, THEREFOPE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT:
1. The Citv of Wheat Pidge total Budget as stated in
this Resolution be hereby approved and adopted For the fiscal
period beginning January 1, 1979, and ending December 31, lQ79.
2. The property tax mill levv for r:;eneral Fund operatin~
purposes lS herebv established at 3.50 mills and assessed against
all real property located within the ritv of Wheat Ridge for
property taxes to be collected in 1979 for the valuation year 1978.
