TITLE: RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF CONTRACTS WITH THE COLORAIXl
DEPARTMENT OF HIGHWAYS PERTAINING TO STATE REIMBURSEMENT OF CITY
COSTS uNDER THE FEDEPAL AID BRIDGE INSPECTION PROJECT IN THE
FEDERAL-AID URBAN SYSTEM AND ON OFF -SYSTEM ROADS PlAN
WHEREAS, the Colorado State Department of Highways has tendered
contracts to the City providing for reimbursement of expenses incurred by the
City in the Federal Aid Bridge Inspection Project of the Federal-Aid Urban
System and on Off-System Roads Plan within the City, and
\lliEREAS, the Contracts are offered under the authority of Sections
43-1-102, 43-1-106, 43-2-101(4)(c) and 43-2-144, C.R.S. 1973, as amended, and
\HREAS, the matching ratio for this Federal-aid project is 80%
Federal-aid funds to 20% City of Wheat Ridge funds, and the City of Wheat Ridge
has estimated the total cost of said work to be $1,870 and is prepared to match
Federal-aid with its share in the amount of $374 (State Contract Encumbrance
No. 80204 in the total amount of $550; and State Contract Encumbrance No. 80200
in the total amount of $1320), and
WHEREAS, the City desires to qualify for such reimbursement under the
tenns and conditions set forth in the Contract.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Wheat Ridge, that the Mayor is hereby authorized to sign the Contracts on
behalf of the City with the Colorado Department of Highways as referenced JIl
