TITLE: RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AN AGREEMI~NT BETWEEN THE CITY
AND THE B.-I SCHOOL BOZ\RD CONCERNING THE LENA GULCH
PROJECT.
WHEREAS, the Lena Gulch project for storm drainage
improvements and an open space area and path syste~ requires
the acquisi~ion 0f land; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary for the project to be
constructed on Everitt Junior nigh Sc!1oo1 land owned by the
R-l School Board;
NOH, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by t'1e City Council
of the City of Wheat Ridge that the r'layor be authorized to
sign an agreement with the R-l School Board to receive a donation
of land In fee title and temporary construction easements from
the School Board in exchange for the constructio~ to be paid by
the City and the Urban Drainage and Flood Control Distric4 of
a path, drainage improvements and a pond for educational purposes.
