RESOLUTION NO. 711
Series of 1980
TITLE: RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY TO INITIATE CONDEMNATION
PROCEEDINGS IN ORDER TO ACQUIRE A PORTION OF THE BLEVINS
PROPERTY LOCATED AT 3975 KIPLING STREET IN ,VHEAT RIDGE.
WHEREAS, the City requires the acquisition of land for dual
public uses of open space and storm drainage along Lena Gulch; and
WHEREAS, the City Council in Resolution 675, Series of 1980,
authorized negotiations for the acquisition of portions of property
at 3975 Kipling Street; and
WHEREAS, said negotiations have failed to produce a result
satisfactory to the needs of the City in connection with this project;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Wheat Ridge that the City Attorney be authorized to initiate
i~~ediate action in the condemnation of the following parcel of
land located at 3975 Kipling Street:
In fee title, a 1 by 100 foot strip described in the attached
legal description: Lena Gulch Acquisition No. 1.103.2 (Exhibit A).
