RESOLUTION NO. 713
Series of 1980
TITLE: RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING REIMBURSEMENT FROM WHEAT RIDGE
ATTRIBUTABLE SHARE OF JEFFERSON COUNTY OPEN SPACE FUNDS
FOR COSTS INCURRED RELATIVE TO OPEN SPACE DURING THE
PERIOD JULY 1, 1973, TO DECEMBER 31, 1979.
WHEREAS, Wheat Ridge Council has previously adopted
Resolution 679 requesting reimbursement and which Resolution for
technical reasons requires amendment contained herein, and
WHEREAS, Jefferson County has authorized a procedure whereby
these funds may be reimbursed, and
WHEREAS, the City of Wheat Ridge currently has sufficient
funds in its share of the Jefferson County Open Space Fund;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Wheat Ridge that Resolution No. 679 adopted March 10, 1980,
is hereby rescinded and the within Resolution be adopted in its
place and stead; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the City Council that the City
Council certifies to the Board of County Commissioners of Jefferson
County that the City of Wheat Ridge has expended $141,835.00
between July 1, 1973, and December 31, 1979, for those purposes
authorized by the Jefferson County Open Space Resolution passed
September 26, 1972; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor be authorized to
sign a certification of expenditure and request for reimbursement
to the Board of County Commissioners of Jefferson County that the
City of Wheat Ridge be reimbursed from its attributable share of
the Open Space Funds in the sum of $141,835.00.
