RESOLUTION NO. 714
Series of 1980
TITLE: RESOLUTION COMMENDING A. LEONARD SMITH FOR HIS SERVICES AS ACTING
PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR
WHEREAS, A. Leonard Smith has provided the City of Wheat Ridge with
extra efforts and numerous extra hours while serving as Acting Director of
Public Works in addition to his duties as City Engineer; and
WHEREAS, his willingness to fulfill duties of both positions enabled
the City of Wheat Ridge to continue providing public works services during
this period; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and City Council want to recognize the outstanding
extra effort put forth by A. Leonard Smith during this period of time.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Wheat Ridge that our sincere appreciation is hereby expressed to A. Leonard
Smith for his extra service to the City in the position of Acting Director of
Public Works from September 1979 to September 1980.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that an official copy of this Resolution be
presented to Mr. Smith in recognition of his dedication and extra work for
the City of Wheat Ridge.
DONE AND RESOLVED thi s 22nd day of September 1980 by a vote of
8 to 0 .
