TITLE: RESOLUTION URGING 'ERE BOAED OP COUNTY COJV'~ftISSIONEP.S TO
PA.SS A RESOLUTION OF INTENT .riND SUBSEQUENT BOND ISSUB
FOR SINGLE FAMILY ~ORTGAGE REVENUE BONDS
HHEREAS, the City of v7heat Ridge adopted Resolution No. 746,
Series of 1981, settins forth their intent to authorize the lssuance
of single family ~ortgaae revenue bonds, the City of Fda,ewater adopted
a similar resolution; and
WHEREAS, after consultation with Boettcher and Company,
the amount of Donds allowed to be sold by our two comEunities is
too s~all to be feasible under the Mortgage Subsidy Bond Tax Act
enacted by Congress in 1980; and
villEREAS, the City of Wheat Ridge and the City of Edaewater
feel that it is extremely important to provide assistance to those
who cannot otherwise afford to purchase single family homes; and
\,'JHEREAS, to obtain a more economically feasible bond
issue a County-wide issue should be accomplished.
NOH, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Fheat Ridge that the Board of County COr.1Inissioners be
urged to favorably review and pass a resolution of intent and
subsequent bond issue for single family mortgage revenue bonds
ln an amount that is economically feasible.
DONE AND RESOLVED this 23rd day of Noverrber, 1981.
