RESOLUTION NO. 769

TITLE: RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF WHEAT RIDGE TO ENTER
INTO AN INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT vlITH THE COUNTY OF
JEFFERSON, THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD AND THF CITY OF
EDGEWATER, TO PROVIDE FOR PEPSONAL SERVICES FOR PUBLIC
EMPLOYEES
WHEREAS, the City of ~~eat Ridge, the County of Jefferson,
the City of Lakewood, and the City of Edgewater, have a common
interest In assisting their employees, and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City of vfueat
Ridge to enter into the Intergovernmental Agreement which is
attached to this Resolution; and
WHEREAS, Section 14.2 of the Home Rule Charter of the
City of v!heat Ridge authorizes the Cit.y of Wheat Ridge, by
Resolution, to enter into Intergovernmental Agreements.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Wheat Ridge that the Intergovernmental Agreement
attached to this Resolution be approved, and the Mayor be
authorized to sign said Intergovernmental Agreement.
