TITLE: A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING A CATV PROPERTY D~ffiGE ESCROW FUND
WHEREAS, the City Council has provided for a CATV prooerty
Damage Fund in Section 21-22 of the Cable Television Permit Ordinance,
as amended, and
WHEREAS, the amended Ordinance requires the establishment
of a revolving fund to be designated as the CATV Property Damage
Fund, and
WHEREAS, the Permittee shall, within 30 days of granting of
a Permit, deliver to the City Five Thousand ($5,000) Dollars to be
deposited in the Wheat Ridge CATV Property Damage Escrow Fund and
to be used in the sole discretion of the City for settlement of
minor unresolved claims against the permittee for damage to private
property, and
WHEREAS, the permittee shall restore this cash fund to the
Five Thousand ($5,000) Dollar amount within fourteen (14) days after
notification that the City has drawn from the fund a claim settle-
ment;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council
instructs the City Treasurer to establish a fund that shall be
called "CATV Property Damage Escrow Fund"; and assign the account
numbers 56-580-588 and 56-106-787 to this Fund, and deposit to the
account Five Thousand ($5,000) Dollars when received from the
Permittee.
DONE AND RESOLVED this 12th day of July, A.D. 1982.
