TITLE: RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY O~ v-lHEAT RIDGE TO ENTER
INTO AN INTERGOVERm1ENTAL AGREEMENT vHTH THE COUNTY OF
JEFFERSON IN ORDER TO DELEGATE JEPFEPSON COUNTY THE
AUTHORITY TO ACT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF vJHEAT RIDGE
IN THE ISSUANCE OF QUALIFIED MORTGAGE BONDS AND TO
TRANSFER TO JEFFERSON COUN'I'Y THE ALLOCATION OF THE CITY
OF WHEAT RIDGE, UNDER SECTION 29-4-805 OF COLORADO REVISED
STATUTES 1973, AS P~~ENDED, FOR THE PERIOD FROM OCTOBER 1,
1982 THROUGH DECEtffiER 31, 1982 TO FINANCE MORTGAGE LOANS
TO PROVIDE MORE ADEQUATE RESIDENTIAL HOUSING FACILITIES
FOR LOW AND MIDDLE INCOME FAMILIES.
WHEREAS, the City of Wheat Ridge and the County of
Jefferson have a COITmon interest in providing ITore adequate resi-
dential housing facilities for low and middle income families in
the City of Wheat Ridge and County of Jefferson; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City of Wheat Ridge
to enter into the intergovernmental agreement which is attached to
this Resolution; and
WHEREAS, Section 14.2 of the Home Rule Charter of the City
of Wheat Ridge authorizes the City of Wheat Ridge, by Resolution,
to enter into intergovernmental agreeITents;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Wheat Ridge, that the intergovernmental agreement attached
to this Resolution be approved, and the Mayor be authorized to
Slon said intergovernmental agreement.
DONE AND RESOLVED this 13th day of September, 1982.
