TITLE: RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING TRANSFER OF HANDICAPPED PARKING FINE REVENUES TO
FACILITY REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE ACCOUNT
WHEREAS, the City of Wheat Ridge has established a fine schedule for
the purpose of enforcing handicapped parking regulations to insure the availability
of conveniently located parking spaces for handicapped citizens; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Wheat Ridge desires that revenues
obtained from these violations be used to fund necessary improvements to City
facilities that will enhance the access and use of these facilities by handicapped
citizens.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Wheat Ridge that the City Treasurer be authorized to transfer all handicapped
parking fine revenues to Account 602-774 Facility Repairs and Maintenance for the
purpose of funding facility repairs that specifically benefit handicapped citizens.
DONE AND RESOLVED this 25th day of October, A.D., 1982
