TITLE
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF WHEAT RIDGE TO ENTER INTO AN
INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT WITlI THE COUNTY OF .JEFFERSON r N
ORDER TO TRANSFER TO JEFFERSON COUNTY THE ALLOCATION OF THE CITY
OF WHEAT RIDGE, UNDER SECTION 29-4-803 OF COLORADO REVISED STATUTES
1973, AS ~lENDED, TO FINANCE MORTGAGE LOANS TO PROVIDE ~IORE ADEQUATE
RESIDENTIAL HOUSING FACILITIES FOR LOW AND MIDDLE INCOME FAMILIES
WHEREAS, the City of Wheat Ridge and the County of Jefferson have
a common interest in providing more adequate residential housing facilities
for low and middle income families in the City of Wheat Ridge and County
of Jefferson; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City of Wheat Ridge to
enter into the intergovernmental agreement which is attached to this
Resolution; and
WHEREAS, Section 14.2 of the Home Rule Charter of the City of Wheat
Ridge authorizes the City of Wheat Ridge, by Resolution, to enter into
intergovernmental agreements;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Wheat Ridge, that the intergovernmental agreement attached to this
Resolution be approved, and the Mayor be authorized to sign said inter-
governmental agreement.
