RESOLUTION NO. 910
Series of 1984
TITLE:
RESOLUTION GIVING SPECIAL RECOGNITION TO THE NUMBER ONE
TEAM IN THE SIERRA LEAGUE OF JEFFERSON COUNTY JUNIOR BASEBALL
WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Junior Baseball team sponsored
by Page Distributing Co. placed first in their Sierra League; and
WHEREAS, the aforesaid team composed of boys 9 years of age,
ln their first year of play, won 10 of 11 games played, and went on
to capture second place of the 1984 Jefferson County Baseball
Tournament held at Columbine; and
WHEREAS, special recognition should be given to these young
people, their coaches and parents, for their accomplishments;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Wheat Ridge, that congratulations and special reconition
be given to the following team members, coaches, team mother and
parents:
