TITLE: URBAN RENEWAL AUTHORITY REQUEST OF CITY COUNCIL TO APPROVE THE
1984 ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT FUND BUDGET AND TO APPROVE THREE
PROJECT ELEMENTS
WHEREAS, the City Council has signed an Intergovernmental Agreement with
the Urban Renewal Authority in 1984 authorizing the Urban Renewal
Authority to investigate economic development projects; and
WHEREAS, the Urban Renewal Authority was instructed in that
Intergovernmental Agreement to make proposals to the City Council for
individual projects and the funding required for those projects,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council approves the 1984
Economic Development Fund Budget of the Urban Renewal Authority as found
on the attached budget page which was approved by the Urban Renewal
Authority, dated August 29, 1984, for a total of $53,900, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council further approves a project
element of $8,900 for administrative expenses, including a brochure, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council approves a project element
for annexation investigation to hire Ron Henson of Transplan to do
highway design for annexation projects for $25,000, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council approves a project element
for annexation investigation for other consultants of $2,500,
