TITLE: A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE 1984-85 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PLAN, AS
REQUIRED BY THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO CERTIFY COMPLETION OF THIS PLAN TO THE STATE
OF COLORADO.
WHEREAS, the City has received funding, on behalf of the Southeast Wheat Ridge
Water Association, for Community Development Block Grant funds for the purpose
of improving water delivery services and installing additional fire hydrants
within the area presently served by the Southeast Wheat Ridge Water
Association; and
WHEREAS, the City has held public hearings on January 9 and January 23, 1984,
to determine citizens' views on community development and housing needs; and
WHEREAS, the City has adopted various plans, policies and programs dealing
with community development and housing needs, including those of low and
moderate income households, and many of those adoptions are included in the
attached "1984-85 Community Development Plan".
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Wheat Ridge
that the "1984-85 Community Development Plan", attached hereto, be adopted and
the Mayor be authorized to certify completion of this plan to the State of
Colorado.
