Series of 1984
TITLE: A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING THE DIRECTOR OF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT AS THE
CERTIFYING OFFICIAL FOR PURPOSE OF COMPLETING AN ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW
OF THE 1984 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM IN THE CITY OF
WHEAT RIDGE AND BE AUTHORIZED TO ACCEPT ANY LAWSUIT REGARDING SUCH
ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF WHEAT RIDGE.
WHEREAS, the City has received funding, on behalf of the Southeast Wheat Ridge
Water Association, for Community Development Block Grant funds for the purpose
of improving water delivery services and installing additional fire hydrants
within the area presently served by the Southeast Wheat Ridge Water
Association; and
WHEREAS, Community Development Block Grant regulations require that an
Environmental Review of such project be conducted, and that a certifying
official, capable of accepting lawsuits regarding such Environmental Review,
be responsible for the conduct of the Environmental Review, keeping of the
Environmental Review Record, and compliance with all Environmental Review
requirements and regulations.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Wheat Ridge
that the Director of Community Development be designated as the certifying
official for the purpose of completing an Environmental Review of the 1984
Community Development Block Grant Program in the City of Wheat Ridge and be
authorized to accept any lawsuit regarding such Environmental Review on behalf
of the City of Wheat Ridge.
