Series of 1985
TITLE: RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION 915 ADOPTING SALARY SCHEDULE
AND PROVIDING PAY GRADES AND PAY RANGES FOR FISCAL YEAR 1984
WHEREAS, the City has adopted the Resolution 915, Series of 1984 establishing
the salary schedule for 1984, and
WHEREAS, a position of Sales Tax Technician is needed to make sales tax
collection more effective.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT Resolution 915 be amended to reflect
the addition of a Sales Tax Technician.

REQUEST FOR PAYMENT AND
CERTIFICATION OF USE OF FUNDS
The City of Wheat Ridge hereby requests from the
Board of County Commissioners of Jefferson County, State of
Colorado, payment from the Jefferson County Open Space fund
in the amount of One Hundred Forty Nine Thousand, Seven
Hundred Dollars and No Cents ($149,700.00), payable 100%
from its attributable share of Open Space funds, but not to
exceed the present portion of its attributable share
received subsequent to January 1, 1981.
This request constitutes a certification by the
City Council of the City of Wheat Ridge to the Board of
County Commissioners of Jefferson County that the City of
Wheat Ridge entered into a contract with Valle Del Rio
Company, Inc. on February 25, 1985, a copy of which lS
attached as Exhibit "A" for the sum of Four Hundred Forty
Nine Thousand, Seven Hundred Dollars and No Cents
($449,700.00) for the Wheat Ridge Senior/Community Center
addition and remodel project, located at 6363 W. 35th Avenue
in Wheat Ridge, all of which constitute purposes which are
authorized by the Jefferson County Open Space Resolution as
adopted by the voters on November 7, 1972 and amended on
November 4, 1980.
In the event the total cost of the contract work lS
less than Four Hundred Forty Nine Thousand, Seven Hundred
Dollars and No Cents ($449,700.00), the City of Wheat Ridge,
Colorado will refund the unexpended funds to Jefferson
County within 30 days after the final cost under the
contract is determined, to be credited to the City of Wheat
Ridge's attributable share of the Jefferson County Open
Space Fund.
In accordance with the Jefferson County Open Space
Resolution, the County or its designated representative,
may, if it so desires, audit the work papers and audit
utilized by the Ci~y of Wheat Ridge, Colorado to determine
the final cost under the contract.
This certification and
request has been duly authorized by Resolu~ion #
adopted by the City Council of Wheat Ridge, Colorado on
February 25, 1985, a copy of which is attached, by which the
City Council of Wheat ridge certifies to the Board of County
Commimssioners of Jefferson County that the Open Space funds
specified herein will be expended only for the purposes
stated and authorizes the Mayor of the City of Wheat Ridge,
colorado to sign this Request for Payment and Certification
of Use of Funds.
This certification also certifies to the Board of
County Commissioners of Jefferson County that the facili~ies
programs, projects or land acquisitions upon which the funds
will be or have been expended shall be open to the general
public and the use thereof shall not be restricted solely to
the persons who reside within the City.
