HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution-1985-0946 RE SOL UTI ON NO. 946 Series of 1985 TITLE: RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE JEFFERSON COUNTY OPEN SPACE OFFICIALS TO SECURE PROFESSIONAL APPRAISAL ON THE DAVIS PROPERTY, LOCATED AT WEST 3~TH AVENUE AND JAY STREET IN WHEAT RIDGE, COLORADO. WHEREAS, the Davis Property, located at West 35th Avenue and Jay Street, in Wheat Ridge, Colorado, consisting of 5.2 acres more or less, has been offered for sale to the City of Wheat Ridge by the owner, and WHEREAS, this property is located in an area of Wheat Ridge where the Parks and Open Space Plan recommends that additional land be acquired; and WHEREAS, the City desires to investigate the value of this property under the Jefferson County Open Space program; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Wheat Ridge, that the Jefferson County Open Space officials be hereby authorized and requested to secure a professional appraisal on the Davis Property as referenced In this Resolution, to determine its fair market value. The applicant assures that the federal funds made available under the Justice Assistance Act will not be used to supplant state and/or local funds, but will be used to increase the amounts of such funds that would, in the absence of federal funds, be made available for criminal justice activities. 2. Applicant assures that fund accounting, auditing, monitoring and such evaluation procedures as may be necessary to keep such records as the Division of Criminal Justice shall prescribe will be provided to assure fiscal control proper manage- ment, and efficient disbursement of funds received under this program. 3.
