TITLE:
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF WHEAT RIDGE TO
ENTER INTO AN INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT WITH THE
COUNTY OF JEFFERSON IN ORDER TO PROVIDE FOR THE
PERFOl<.l'IANCE OF CERTAIN DUTIES BY THE COUNTY CLERK.
WHEREAS, the City of Wheat Ridge and the County of
Jefferson have a common interest in the conduct of Municipal
elections, and
WHEREAS, it lS in the best interest of the City of
Wheat Ridge to enter into the Intergovernmental Agreement
which is attached to this Resolution; and
WHEREAS, Section 14.2 of the Horne Rule Charter of
the City of Wheat Ridge authorizes the City of Wheat Ridge,
by Resolution, to enter into Intergovernmental Agreements.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Wheat Ridge that the Intergovernmental
Agreement attached to this Resolution be approved, and the
Mayor be authorized to sign said Intergovernmental
Agreement.

REQUEST FOR REIHBURSEMENT AND
CERTIFICATION OF EXPENDITURES
The City of Wheat Ridge hereby requests from the Board of
County Commissioners of Jefferson County, State of Colorado,
reimbrusement from the Jefferson County Open Space fund in the
amount of Thirty-six thousand six hundred and ninety one dollars
and sixty-eight cents ($36,691.68), payable 100% from its
attributable share of Open Space funds, but not to exceed the
present balance of its attributable share.
This request constitutes a certification by the City Council
of the City of Wheat Ridge to the Board of County Commissioners
of Jefferson County that the City of Wheat Ridge has expended
this sum during the period commencing January 1, 1985 and ending
September 16, 1985 for purposes which are authorized by the
Jefferson County Open Space Resolution as adoipted by the voters
on November 7, 1972 and amended on November 4, 1980. The
expenditures which the City of Wheat Ridge has made during the
above period were in the following amounts and for the following
purposes:
1. Administration of Open Space

Request for Reimbursement
from Open Space
In accordance with the Jefferson County Open Space
Resolution, the County or its designated representative may, if
it so desires, audit the work papers and audit utilized by the
City of Wheat Ridge to prepare this certification and request.
This certification and request has been duly authorized by
Resolution # q~7 adopted by the City Council on September 23,
1985, a copy of which is attached, by which the City of Wheat
Ridge certifies to the Board of County Commissioners of Jefferson
County that the City of Wheat Ridge has expended funds specified
herein only for the purposes stated and authorizes the Mayor to
sign this request for reimbursement and certification of
expenditures.
