TITLE:
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING REIMBURSEMENT FROM CITY OF WHEAT
RIDGE'S ATTRIBUTABLE SHARE OF THE JEFFERSON COUNTY OPEN
SPACE FUND FOR PARKS AND OPEN SPACE DEVELOPMENT.
WHEREAS, the City of Wheat Ridge has expended General
Funds for the construction, acquisition and maintenance of parks
and open space projects in 1985,
WHEREAS, the voters of Jefferson County voted on
November 4, 1980 to allow expenditures for the construction and
maintenance of parks and open space,
WHEREAS, the City of Wheat Ridge approved the
construction projects as follows:
Boyd's Crossing $ 8,746.87
Park Development
Wheat Ridge Historical Park-
Johnson Cabin 2,000.00
Hayward Park -
Playground Equipment 4,859.00
Wheat Ridge Community Center -
Cornerstone 500.00
Wheat Ridge Municipal Pool-
(Tables) 1,915.00
Wheat Ridge Park -
Repair of Entrance 1,298.70
TOTAL REQUESTED FOR
REIMBURSEMENT $19,319.57
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Wheat
Ridge that the Jefferson County Open Space officials process the
request for reimbursement for the approved construction,
acquisition and maintenance projects and costs on park property
appraisals.

REQUEST FOR REIMBURSEMENT AND
CERTIFICATION OF EXPENDITURES
The City of Wheat Ridge hereby requests from the Board of
County Commissioners of Jefferson County, State of Colorado,
reimbursement from the Jefferson County Open Space fund in the
amount of, Nineteen thousand, three hundred nineteen dollars and
fifty-seven cents ( $19,319.57), payable 100% from its
attributable share of Open Space funds, but not to exceed the
present balance of its attributable share.
This request constitutes a certification by the City Council
of the City of Wheat Ridge to the Board of County Commissioners
of Jefferson County that the City of Wheat Ridge has expended
this sum during the period commencing January 1, 1985 and ending
September 16, 1985 for purposes which are authorized by the
Jefferson County Open Space Resolution as adopted by the voters
on November 7, 1972 and amended on November 4, 1980 and are fully
described as an addendum to this certification. The expenditures
which the City of Wheat Ridge has made during the above period
were in the following amounts and for the following purposes:

Request for Reimbursement
from Open Space
In accordance with the Jefferson County Open Space
Resolution, the County or its designated representative may, if
it so desires, audit the work papers and audit utilized by the
City of Wheat Ridge to prepare this certification and request.
This certification and request has been duly authorized by
Resolution IF 965 adopted by the Ci ty Council on December 9,
Ridge certifies to the Board of County Commissioners of Jefferson
County that the City of Wheat Ridge has expended funds specified
herein only for the purposes stated and authorizes the Mayor to
sign this request for reimbursement and certification of
expenditures.
This certification also certifies to the Board of County
Commissioners of Jefferson County that the facilities, programs,
projects or land acquisitions upon which the funds will be or
have been expended shall be open to the general public and the
use thereof shall not be restricted solely to the persons who
reside within the City.
