TITLE:
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE COMMISSIONERS' DEED DATED
J].I.!\JUARY 6, 1987, VES'rING TITLE IN THE GILLHOUSE
PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF WHEAT RIDGE.
WHEREAS the Board of County of Commissioners of the County
of Jefferson, State of Colorado, acting at the request of the
City of Wheat Ridge, has purchased certain property within the
City of Wheat Ridge previously owned by Mr. and Mrs. Gillhouse,
payment for which has been made from the City's attributable
share of the open space fund;
WHEREAS the Commissioners have executed their Commissioners'
Deed transferring title to, and vesting title in, said property
to the City of Wheat Ridge, subject to a right of reverter in the
event that the City should "use said property for any purpose
other than public open space, park and recreational purposes";
WHEREAS the City of Wheat Ridge wishes to accept said
Commissioners' Deed;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY 'rHE CITY COUNCIL OF' 'rHE CITY
OF WHEAT RIDGE, COLORADO, AS FOLLOWS:
1. The Commissioners' Deed which is attached hereto as
Exhibit A and incorporated herein, is expressly accepted by the
City of Wheat Ridge, and the City agrees to be bound to perform
the duties and limitations specified in said Deed.
DONE AND RESOLVED this 26th day of January, 1986
