TITLE:
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING TH~ CITY OF WHEAT RIDGE TO
ENTER INTO AN INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT WITH TH~
COUNTY OF JEFFEfiSON IN ORDER TO PROVIDE FOR THE
PtRFGRMANCt OF CERTAIN DUTIES BY THE COUNTY CLERK.
WHEREAS, the City of Wheat Ridge and the County of
Jefferson have a commo~ interest in the conduct of Municipal
elections, and
~HtREAS, it is in the best interest of the City of
Wheat Ridge to enter into the Intergovernmental Agreement
which is attached to this Resolution; and
WHEREAS, Section 14.2 of the Home Rule Charter of
the City of Wheat Ridge authorizes the City of Wheat Riage,
by hesolution, to enter into Intergovernmental Agreements.
NUW, THEREFURE, bE IT RESOLvED by the City Council
of the City of Wheat Ridge that the Intergovernmental
Agreement attached to this Resolution be approved, and the
Mayor be authorizea to sign said Intergovernmental
Agreeruent.
DONE AND RESOLVED this 28th day of September,
1987.
