RESOLUTION NO. 1067
TITLE: RESOLUTION PROVIDING THAT STAFF HAVE EITHER THE DAY BEFORE
CHRISTMAS OR THE DAY BEFORE NEW YEARS OFF.
WHEREAS, the City give City staff either the day before
Christmas or the day before New Years off under the following
conditions:
WHEREAS, time off is to be arranged between employees and
Department Heads, so that each Department has approximately half
coverage these days.
WHEREAS, if the Police Department or Public Works Department
cannot arrange to give either of these two days off, because of
necessity for police coverage or snow conditions, those staff members
should get an alternate day off during the holiday season and that no
overtime is to be paid because they were unable to get the two
originally scheduled days off.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WHEAT RIDGE, THAT,
the City staff either get the day before Christmas or New Years off.
