TITLE:
RESOLUTION OF INTEREST TO ESTABLISH A SISTER CITY RELATION-
SHIP WITH HSIN TIEN CITY
WHEREAS, the City of Wheat Ridge desires to link with a
city 1n another nation to develop lasting and meaningful exchanges
of people, ideas and cultures on a long-term basis; and
WHEREAS, Hsin Tien City in Taipei, has expressed a strong
interest in establishing this attachment with the City oE Wheat
Ridge; and
WHEREAS, the City of Wheat Ridge wishes to express its
resolution of interest in forming a sister city relationship to
Hsin Tien City in Taipei;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Wheat Ridge, that the City wishes to establish a sister city
unlon with Hsin Tien City in Taipei; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution be
forwarded to the Coordination Council for North American Affairs.
DONE AND RESOLVED this 8th day of Fehruary, 19RR.
