Series of 1988
TITLE: A RESOLUTION APPROPRIATING ADDITIONAL SUMS OF MONEY IN
EXCESS OF AMOUNTS BUDGETED FOR THE CITY OF WHEAT RIDGE,
COLORADO FOR FISCAL YEAR 1988.
WHEREAS, the City of Wheat Ridge Annual Budget for the fiscal
year 1988 has been adopted through Resolution No. 1058 on the
26th day of October, 1987; and
WHEREAS, the City of Wheat Ridge wi II receive additional revenue
not assured at the time of adoption of the 1988 budget; and
WHEREAS, with the adoption of Ordinance No. 754 on May 9, 1988,
the City Counci I of the City of Wheat Ridge authorized Issuance
of Special Assessment Bonds in the amount of $1,250,000 which
wi I I produce additional revenue in the Capital Improvment Fund in
the amount of $1,144,000;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Councl I of the City of
Wheat Ridge, Colorado:
A . That the additional sum of $1,144,000 be appropriated for
expenditure in the Capital Improvement Fund in 1988 for the
purpose of constructing and instal ling certain street paving,
curb and gutter Improvements, and storm drainage improvements to
complete the 48th Avenue street project during 1988; and
B. That the 1988 total appropriation for the Capital
Improvement Fund be hereby increased from $2,880,000 to
$4,024,000.
