HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution-1988-1093 RESOLUTION NO. 1093 TITLE: RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION FOR HOWARD JAQUAY WHEREAS, Howard Jaquay has accepted a position with Coughlin and Co. and has tendered his resignation effective July 4, 1988; and WHEREAS, Howard Jaquay has served the City in various capacities since 1970; and as Chief of Police since May 24, 1982; and WHEREAS, Howard Jaquay served as Acting City Administrator during the Spring and Summer of 1987, along with his duties as Chief of POlice; and WHEREAS, Howard Jaquay deserves special recognition from the governing body of this City and the citizens of this community for his dedicated service and commitment to professional and quality City services to the citizens of the community; and WHEREAS, Howard Jaquay has contributed considerable effort in implementing a successful police pension plan and many other innovative ideas in the Police Department for the City of Wheat Ridge; and WHEREAS, Howard Jaquay will be greatly missed by all; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Wheat Ridge, Colorado, that on behalf of all elected officials, employees, and citizens, our thanks and gratitude are hereby extended to Howard Jaquay for his service to the City of Wheat Ridge; BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that we hope he will accept our very best wishes for continued success and happiness in the future.
