HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution-1988-1096 RESOLU'rION NO. 1096 SERIES OF 1988 TITLE: A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING A WARRANTY DEED TO CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY SITUATEDIN THE CITY OF WHEAT RIDGE, COUNTY OF JEFFERSON, STATE OF COLORADO, FROM THE PRUDENTIAL INSURANCE COMPANY OF AMERICA. WHEREAS, the City is involved, together with owners of real property within the City, in the completion of the construction and improvement of West 48th Avenue (West 1-70 Frontage Road North) within the City of Wheat Ridge, Colorado; WHEREAS, in order to construct and complete said street project, it has been necessary for the City to acquire certain real property for right-of-way and other purposes; WHEREAS, the property described in the attached Warranty Deed is necessary for completion of said project, and has been conveyed to the City by the Prudential Insurance Company of America, subject to the City's acceptance thereof; WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City to accept the Warranty Deed and resultant conveyance of said real property so as to allow completion of the above-described improvement; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Wheat Ridge, Colorado that the Warranty Deed attached hereto from the Prudential Insurance Company of America to the City of Wheat Ridge is hereby accepted. Upon execution of this Resolution, the same is hereby directed to be filed in the real property records of the Clerk and Recorder of the County of Jefferson, State of Colorado as evidence of the acceptance of said property.
