TITLE:
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING USE OF THE PUBLIC
RIGHT-OF-WAY BY THE WHEAT RIDGE CARNATIUN FESTIVAL,
INC., TO PUST SIGNS EXEMPT FROM REGULATION
ADVERTISING THE WHEAT RIDGE CARNATIUN FESTIVAL.
WHEREAS, The Wheat Ridge Carnation Festival, Inc., a
Colorado not for profit corporation, being a civic organization,
intends to hold the Wheat Ridge Carnation Festival: and
WHEREAS, The Wheat Ridge Carnation Festival, being a
city-wide C1V1C event, may be advertised by signs which are
exempted from permit requirement~ under Section 19A-11 (.02) of the
Code of Law~ of the City of Wheat Ridge; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Wheat
Ridge, to aid in promoting the city-wide civic activities sponsored
by the said Wheat Ridge Carnation Festival, Inc., wi~hes to
authorize use by the Wheat Ridge Carnation Festival, Inc., of the
public right-of-way for the purpose of erecting those signs
announcing the time and place of the Wheat Ridge Carnation
Festival.
NUW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESULVED by the City Council
of the City of Wheat Ridge, that authority is hereby granted to the
Wheat Ridge Carnation Fe~tival, Inc., to erect those signs exempt
under Section 19A-11(.02) of the Code of Laws of the of the City of
Wheat Ridge, for the purpose of announcing the Wheat Ridge Carnation
Festival, Inc., provided that all requirements of Chapter 19A of
the Code of Law~ of the City of Wheat Ridge otherwi~e applicable to
~aid sign~ are complied with, and further provided that said ~igns
are removed from the public right-of-way no later than Augu~t 27,
1988.
