TITLE:
RESOLUTION REQUES'l'ING CONSTRUCTION OF SOUND BARRIERS
ALONG INTERSTATE 70 BETWEEN KIPLING AND TABOR STREETS
WHEREAS, the City of Wheat Ridge has
need for sound harriers on the south side of
between KipIing and Tabor Streets; and
determined the
Interstate 70
WHEREAS, sound barriers along said highway would
benefit the citizens of Wheat Ridge, Colorado, and
'~HEREAS, the State of Colorado Highway Department
prioritizes, funds, and constructs sound barriers.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council
of the City of Wheat Ridge that said City hereby requests sound
barriers along the south side of Interstate 70, between KipIing
and Tabor Streets be prioritized, funded, and constructed by the
State of Colorado Highway Department as soon as possible.
DONE AND RESOLVED this 8th day of January, 1990.
