TITLE:
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AN INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT
WITH THE URBAN DRAINAGE AND FLOOD CONTROL DISTRICT
(UDFCD) FOR EXPENDITURE OF MATCHING FUNDS FOR THE
CONSTRUCTION OF A PORTION OF LENA GULCH CHANNEL
IMPROVEMENTS SCHEDULE V.
WHEREAS, Section 14.2 of the Home Rule Charter of Wheat
Ridge provides express authority to enter into intergovernmental
agreements providing for cooperative efforts between governments;
and
WHEREAS, the UDFCD has completed a design for a portion
of Schedule V of the Lena Gulch channel improvements; and
WHEREAS, the cost estimates for the design require
additional funds; and
WHEREAS, in the spirit of cooperation UDFCD will match
our contribution of funds.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved that: Section 1 the
Mayor of the City of Wheat Ridge is hereby authorized to execute
the Intergovernmental Agreement with the UDFCD for the
construction of a portion of Lena Gulch Channel Improvements
Schedule V.
