TITLE:
RESOLUTION APPROVING AN INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT
BETWEEN THE CITY OF WHEAT RIDGE AND THE FRUITDALE
SANITATION DISTRICT AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY
CLERK TO SIGN SAID INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT.
WHEREAS, Section 14.2 of the Home Rule Charter of the
City of Wheat Ridge authorizes the City Council, either by
resolution or by ordinance, to enter into Intergovernmental
Agreements as authorized by State law; and
WHEREAS,
obtaining sanitary
Prospect Park; and
the City of Wheat Ridge is desirous of
sewer service for the new restroom facility in
WHEREAS, the City of Wheat Ridge is desirous of
arranging for direct connection to the Metro interceptor for the
said restroom, with the assistance of Fruitdale Sanitation
District and Fruitdale Sanitation District is desirous of
assisting Wheat Ridge with that connection upon the terms and
conditions set forth in the Intergovernmental Agreement; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Wheat Ridge
wishes to approve said Intergovernmental Agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Wheat Ridge that:
1) The Intergovernmental Agreement between the City of Wheat
Ridge and Fruitdale Sanitation District for said sewer service is
hereby adopted and approved.
2) The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed
to execute said Intergovernmental Agreement.
